I am a classroom teacher with more than ten years of experience and is also a proud resident of Celebration. My husband, my children, and I had previously lived in Celebration from 2011-2013 while taking care of my mother after a stroke. My husband sadly passed away in 2020 of COVID-19. My children and I moved back to Celebration in 2023. I have also homeschooled both of my children for preschool through to the end of high school. For many years, I was happily married to my husband, Steve, who was born in St. Albans, England. We had first met as long-distance pen pals when he was in the British Royal Navy, traveling to places such as South America and Antarctica. I lived in England for 2 years after our marriage. I enjoy spending time with my children, Barbara and Charles, who are both now in college. Barbara is a physics major working with the NASA L’SPACE Mission Concept Academy, and Charles is a history major.
The philosophy of Celebration Bright Futures Tutoring is that children learn best when they are instilled with a love of learning and are treated as individuals. Celebration Bright Futures Tutoring encourages children to exercise their creativity through storytelling and drama and to do hands-on work with STEM. Your children will learn a lot and have fun along the way.
